After looking for several years, attending a number of RV/camping shows, and renting a travel trailer for a trip to the Black Hills in Aug. 2010, my wife Sue and I narrowed the purchase decision down to a few key criteria. It was a long and interesting process, and I’ll share some buying tips in a future post.
We ultimately decided that a fifth wheel trailer was the best route to go, and in Feb. 2011 we put a down payment to have a Keystone Laredo 266RL built for us. It’s a beauty.
The trailer wasn’t delivered until the middle of May, however, which was more than a bit aggravating. More on that later.
