On Saturday we retrieved the trailer from the facility where we stored it for the winter. As I mentioned in a previous post, I was a bit nervous about what we might find. Namely, damage from mice.
It was a chilly, windy day on Saturday and it took us a little while to install the battery and the capture plate for our PullRite SuperGlide hitch. We waited until we got the trailer home to open it up and…
…nothing. No signs of mice anywhere. What a huge relief!
There really wasn’t much dust inside, either — less than what’s in our living room, anyways — so that was another nice surprise. We spent part of the weekend vacuuming and wiping down surfaces, and Sue washed all the kitchenware and started putting all the other “stuff” back in place.
It feels good to have the trailer back at home, and we’re eager to head out as soon as we can!
